妙音天女，亦稱妙音佛母，是文殊菩薩的化身，為藏傳佛教中的藝術本尊，示現女相。學習聲明、工巧明者，修持此法門皆得加持。

本尊造像雙腿自然盤坐於蓮葉上，身體右傾，左手做操持天女千絲琵琶狀，右手作彈奏狀，神情專注，雙手雖空無法物，卻能生萬法。天女髪髻微微隆起，面容秀美文靜，下身著綢裙，綢裙紋理婉轉自如，和蓮葉融為一體。帛帶繞身，至身後呈飛天式向上飄舞，極富天女美感。整尊造型恍若天女於凝神弦歌中上升兠率內院，優美高貴，神韻生動傳神，仰望之令人心生美好。

Sarasvati, in the image of a female, is the manifestation of Manjusri and the yidam of art in Tibetan Buddhism. Her way of Buddhist practice can aid those who learn linguistics, craft or technology.

This sculpture presents an image of Sarasvati, sitting cross-legged on lotus leaves and leaning her body to the right slightly, who holds a pipa (Chinese lute) by her left hand and plays it heart and soul with her right one. Although there is actually nothing on her hands, the absence of the musical instrument can possibly produce everything. With a slightly uplifted updo, the elegant and gentle Sarasvati wears a silk dress with its smooth texture mingling with the lotus leaves. The shawl on her shoulders is waving upwards to demonstrate the beauty of Sarasvati. The sculpture shows us the scene that Sarasvati is ascending to the Tusita Deva-World while attentively singing to the accompaniment of pipa. The work vividly presents us the image of graceful and elegant Sarasvati, bringing great happiness to the viewer.
