合掌觀音，三十三觀音之一。以虛心合掌，故有此名。

觀音菩薩高貴出塵，身材修長，肩膀略削。造像面容沉靜內省，神聖莊嚴而不失優雅寧靜，衣飾如流水般自發髻頂端輕然而瀉，軀體隱於衣紋之下，隱現輕合雙掌，念念於覺知中。本尊整體造型如籠薄紗，外形簡潔俐落，刻線細膩流暢，韻味幽雅，以清淨安樂之相令人動容。

The Avalokitesvara with a gassho gesture is one of the 33 manifestations of Avalokitesvara. The name originates from his gassho gesture, namely the gesture of folded hands.

The noble Avalokitesvara has a slender figure, sloping shoulders and a calm countenance, demonstrating his divinity, solemnity, elegance and tranquility. His clothes, like gurgling water, flow down swiftly from the top of his updo. With his body veiled under the folds of clothes, he is mediating and sensing the world with the gassho gesture.

The sculpture, in a veiled overall design, is concise in shape and exquisite in techniques, presenting an image of tranquil Avalokitesvara who can deeply impress the viewer.
